The history of the area 'Shuzei-cho'

Our area, 'Shuzei-cho' town, Kamigyo ward used to be
the administrative district in the Heian era from the year 794 to 1192.
Later the shogun, Toyotomi Hedeyoshi, built a castle called Jurakudai.

You can feel the history which is not on guidebook
when you take a walk around Higurashi-sou.
You can also use our bikes- if you hop on a bike, the city is your oyster.
