Higurashi-sou is constructed with traditional details and building materials to provide our guests with the experience of a genuine Kyoto machiya house.
As many of these materials are not completely sound-proof, we appreciate your kind understanding and attention to the comfort of all our guests.
All rooms are non-smoking.
Dedicated smoking area is available.
Guest rooms do not have showers nor rest rooms.
We are sorry that we can't accept children under 10 years old because of the sound-proof issue.
We are obligated to collect kyoto city accommodation tax, which is charged separately.
Please pay 200 yen/night/person (400 yen/night/person from March 2026) at check-in.
